”A kid who tells on another kid is a dead kid”

When I was young I had one law
Be quiet about the things I saw
A kid who tells on another kid is a dead kid

It’s a sad, sorry, fucking day
Things have changed, it’s another way
When you have to watch what you say

Can’t speak out, your phone us bugged
Can’t fight back, they keep us drugged
Land of the free, that’s what you think
Home of the slaves, nation of finks

The walls have ears, the hills have eyes
A polygraph will show your lies
Get parole or lose your soul

Strong people of immoral sin
Don’t let your better judgement win
Pick uot the phone and turn them in

Surveilance of the fittest
I don’t need a reason to commit this treason
I don’t need an excuse when my neck’s in the noose
We will be at ease, let us live how we please
All we want to be is to stand tall and free

Now as a man, one rule for me
Be quite about the things I see
A man who tells on another man is a dead man

Solot vid 1.04 – fy helvete! Go Pig, go! När jag dör, ska ”Feel the darkness”-vinylen rullas ihop som en tidning och köras in i min likslappa, välbalsamerade röv innan jag kremeras.

Som Manuela mycket riktigt påpekade bland kommentarerna, härstammar originalcitatet från ”Over the edge” (1979).

Soundtrack: ”Murder in a foreign place”, M.I.A..

Poison Idea verkar ju skitbra!

Om du sedan är hårdrockare rekommenderar jag den här ordningen: ”War all the time”, ”Blank blackout vacant”, ”We must burn”, ”Kings of punk”, ”Record collectors are pretentious assholes”.
